08/20/08 - Just started this week, set up up the jig and planked the sides with CoreCell

08/27/08 - This week we have faired the sides and planked the bottom. You can see that we are using CoreCell on the bottom as well. This boat is really the best of both worlds, traditional construction without traditional problems.

09/03/08 - This week we faired the bottom and the keel, and fiberglassed the outside.

09/10/08 - This week we finished fiberglassing the exterior, and installed the spray rails.

9/23/08 - Back from vacation! In the last two weeks we have sprayed several coats of fairing compound, and hand blocked the entire hull. Today is roll over day - so we can start working on the interior.

Meet the man that can move mountains!

9/29/08 - This week removed all of the jig frames, sanded out the interior, and prepped for interior fiberglassing

10/09/08 - Interior glassing has been completed, and we have in started installing the deck supports.

10/16/08 - This week we put in the tank bed areas, as you can see we completely encase our fuel tanks in a box. We also set the forward rope locker bulkhead and put some rope locker supports in the transom area.

10/28/08 - This week we installed the fuel tanks and foamed them in. We also built a water tank and are in the process of putting the lid on. We built and installed the battery box mounts.

11/18/08 - As you can see by the photographs, we have painted out below the decks, plumbed and wired the fuel tanks, and attached the bonding wire. We did this because the top of the fuel tanks will not be accessible once the decks are in. We also built two panels for the deck, built a pattern and cut and fit the deck. We painted the deck prior to installation, put it in place, got underneath, and drew out all the areas that the deck would glue to. Then we sanded the paint off those areas and glued it in. As you can see by the photograph, we did not glass the top. This makes the installation a whole lot easier because of the camber in the deck. We will glass it in place next week. We also installed the trunk line. We do a trunk line, rather than through hulls because it is such a big safety issue.

12/01/08 -As you can see, we pushed to get a little progress done before Thanksgiving. We got the deck glassed, panels built for all the washboards and cover boards. We also built and installed rod lockers, leaning post, and the console cabinet. The console cabinet will have standing head room, and will have a port-a-potty inside.

12/16/08 - This week, we installed the combings, all the wood around the sheers, and fiberglassed the washboards, coverboars, combings, and bow deck. We also built the molds for the live baitwells and the fishboxes. We also ground and sanded everything up. Next week we will install the fishboxes and begin to prepare for paint.

1/06/09 - We are back from the holidays - hope yours was as great as ours! This week we installed the fishbox and two live wells. We also built and installed the seat on the front of the console. We also installed the teak guards around the sheer and the teak lower guard.

1/15/09 - This week we are building and installing all the doors. As you can see we rolled fillets around all the guards. We also started plumbing in the fish box and live wells. Please forgive the mess; it is time to clean!

01/23/09 – All the doors are now fit, and we are on the road to paint. We have shot the hull with another shot of fairing compound, and the interior we have shot twice. After this we have two more shots of primer and then we will start our teak work.
